looks good, is that the toyota starlet gt turbo 1.3, is it any good ? seend a couple of em, been told the charade turbo is the beast though, but isnt that the 1.0 turbo, god knows. looks tasty though, id rather have the toyota than the rs

Im not sure of the exact engine spec as was all done by the previous owner, i do know it has been bored and apprently has acralyte (sp?) pistons, large turbo, different managment, etc, not very up on Jap cars and what is used on them but have seen the RR Print out, spoke to a couple of others with these car and apprently there are about a dozen in the country well over 300BHP.

Im a great believer in 99% of RR's reading false outputs and trust very few, but even if this one was 10% out then thats still over 300BHP which is awesome for a 1.3 and oh my does it go well.

That is one mint looking RS and the so is the Starlet, you'll find it hard to out run this car in a 200sx. You wouldnt care about the mpg if you can pretty much out run anyother car of the same size on the roads.

lol my car will keep up with a SX to 60 !

they're pretty poo standard to be honest, but they can go up to 500bhp.

Is that a set of Highpower nitrous solenoids I see sitting in the corner of the starlets bay ?

could understand the power on nitrous but quite doubtful it will get anywhere near that on a stock exhaust manifold,


Still a nice car though, Do like the series 1's but got to proper mint to be any good.

oh the fun of a mk3 escort - i bought one of these a while back for 35 quid, a 3 door, XR3i alloys, BB4 zorst, had only been resprayed dark blue 2 years earlier so was in pretty good nick. Only down side was a duff battery and smashed drivers window. Took it home mot'd it n got 450 quid for it. Perfect first car with a 1.1 engine, mate i sold it to "pimped" it out with leaopard roof lining and blue neons inside but kept the outside nice n tidy.
