-60mm Lowering Springs

Ive been advised that with standard shocks on a Nova Merit, a 60 mm drop is too much on standard shocks and they will bottom out. Although I have seen Novas with 60mm drops, so would you guys not reccomend it or what?

I used to have -60mm springs on my 1.3 Sr with spring clamps added on as well.

I ran well for a while, then one of the driveshafts fucked up along with both shocks x-(.

I would save your money to get some uprated shocks - better handling and more cost effective in the long run. ;)

ok so what about 40mm, the bloke recommended these to me instead. Chassis Dynamics springs any good?

I have got Dynamics springs on mine with standard shox and i have found them really good.

i have a set ov gsi spec 60mm lowering springs on standerd shocks with cut down bumpstops

i also have corsa shafts
my shocks have been ok but the ride is quite hard

what do you mean "you can't" do you mean diesel springs and shockers are different to petrol ones

Check out Europarts, ?145 for a FULL Blistein suspension kit (-60mm)

bargain from a quality brand...i wouldn't start buying 'own brand' kits, they are usually poor quality...
