Have'nt got a pic but can describe. The 1400 ports are small and sqaure/rectangle, where as the 1300 ports are called something like cathedral shaped. they are bigger than the 1400 ports and they are rounded at the top and square(ish) at the bottom. Sorta like an arch shape.

if they're round i'd go for a nova/astra injection, either 1.6 or 1.8 :?
Dan23-What engine do you have?
this is really starting to fcuk me off its neither of the above manifolds
will someone who is able 2 put pics on here let me e mail pics of it to them so we can figure what engine it is meant 4
i have a 1.4 sr but it has a stuck vavle so need 2 replace head any way so if any 1 has an inlet for 40s an head 2 match let me know
looking at my inlet its simalr 2to 1.3 but the shape of the metal around the port is different mine is kinda flat an the 1.3 has pointed but the holes 4 the studs look 2 be in right place mine has 2 unions 1 at each end 1 kinda in middle other to the underneath of manifold on an angle does this sound right for 1.3 .will some 1 let me email the pics so they can b put on here?
It probably is a old ford inlet then, which is why it dont look like any of the 3 vauxhall ones above.

To be honest, it looks like a 1300sr T40 manifold to me, here's your pics

almost 100% sure, mine had the water inlet on one side and the brake servo outlet on the other. Allthough this manifold will not do for the 1400 sr head, but you could change your head to a 1300 so it would fit, plus you would gain a few ponies as the 1300 being a better flowed head. Cheers
what do i need to make the nova water pipe fit on the union ?

Top pic is the water hose union, bottom pic is the brake servo union
the water hose union is threaded will it be alright to put the hose on with a jublee clip an tighten it on to the thread as i cant get a pipe with the threaded conector on
