loose battery!

the nut and threaded bar that holds the battery in place has sheared. any ideas on how to re-secure it? i'd rather not weld a new one on if i can, i was thinking of drilling through the "screw" on fitting a bolt from underneath although i'm not to sure of the access.

any idea's?

You'd have to remove the dash to get in there AFAIK.

Not sure what theyre called, but you can get threaded rivets which you pop into a hole and then you can whack a bolt in without having to have access from the other side.

Any good garage should have one of these.
