Iv jst bought a 1 litre nova for 100 quid, wot was i thinking??? i needed a car for a few weeks till mine is back on the road ,.........anyway, exhaust snapped off 2 nite, its running very rich and have to rev the tits off it to get her moving. im gunna have to post some pictures up for your amusment.
i sold a 1.2 merit that was mint with mot and tax and 80k on the clock for 150 quid recently :P

This one is on a j plate, 52k, has been resprayed, erm, burgandy, yet the engine bay has loads of rot and to top it off, its flat as a fart!

wanted rid, posted for 200 had a guy come round with 150 in cash and that was fine for me, mot was up in a month and tax (would/did go straight thru mot) but no time, money or need to keep it..... ex gf had the final use of it. i have use of a works car now

I got 120mhp out of it...............well it will do wen i drive it off bempton cliffs, 600 foot all the way down.

Who hasnt had a nova that hasnt fallen apart on them? A lesson learnt, i always take a jack with me with a few tools when ever i buy a car over 5 years old - jus in case.
People will try to con you anyway they can!
We all know how novas love to rust - especially all underneath and around the suspension.
Hardly worth worrying about when buying a Nova.
