hi all,

i want to change the look of the dashboard in my mota but wanna stick with the standard dash. does any 1 have any ideas/pictures of a carpeted dash and how id go about doin it,

I think that maybe the acoustic carpet you get would be a bit thick, why not get it flocked instead mate?

ive seen it done, and it looks pretty cool but not in ur moms cheesy rug, just want it black, its been done on MARTIN KELSONS GSI in the 2.0lt 16v section, come on someone must have an idea plllllllllllllllllllllllllllzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

well....have you ever seen model railways and stuff??

flocking is like the stuf they use on that for grass and stuff but you can get it in black.

looks good!

im sure its rally cars that have them in!

Pop into your local 'Fabric land' and check out what they have. You can find for not too much money alacatara look stuff which is similar to what rally cars use. I used this stuff to redo my motorbike seat - good looks on a budget.
Best thing to do is to choose your fabric - more than u think you will need then mock up a similar nova dash from a scrappies, chances are you might wana fiddle with the vents n stuff like putting in auxilary gauges.
