Ok what do you guys reckon i should do to a 1.3 saloon? At the moment it has a mint set of the Nova SR alloys on it and a Pioneer Cd multichanger.
What should i change next or should I leave it as it is?
all responses welcome....
Adam
Get some pics up!
Lower it?
Your car, your choice...
However, the plans I had for my old salon were just to tidy it up - SR bumpers, 15" Vaux alloys, GSI interior, etc. Subtle stuff looks good on saloons IMO
slam it on the deck!! if you lower any car enough it will look mint
keep it subtle. remove badges bump strips on the doors etc

I think euro style, as it has the round arches i'd slam it and smoothe the body work with a nice set of deep dish 13" alloys.
If its a 3 door saloon you have the makings of a pickup!

slam it with poly bushes n coilovers if your budget will stretch - but keep it minimalist on the looks side of things, forget big jap bumpers, they will only scrape and cause grief in repairs n cost.

Many thanks for the ideas.
Can't lower it too much as the Lincolnshire roads round my way are awful holes literally 6 inches deep!. Suppose could just avoid the holes tho...
Primary concern at the moment is to get it MOT'ed. Oh yeah and sort out that damn calliper. The piston is damaged so here comes a secondhand calliper in good condition from a trusted mate. I shall have brakes... that don't jam on... or off hopefully!
Slight lowering may well look good. Shall attempt to get some pictures up after have given it a damn good polish. It is the Oyster Pearl metallic but has become dull. Some good trade quality polish from the local trade factors should sort that out. Wonder if they sell elbow grease as well?
Shall blast off the engine bay with the steam cleaner sometime as well just to tidy it up a little.
Afraid its a four door saloon so the pick up idea ain't going to work.

imo it'd actually work better than a two door, weld up the back door and smooth them over then the "pickup" bit at the back would look much bigger.

dont replace the caliper with nova parts - ur better off with some astra calipers and vented discs for the time being, most of us know how poor nova brakes are and how they like to seize up.
I'd second the upgraded brakes to ATE Astra 16v calipers. You can buy new discs for ?16 and pads for similar price. For the massive increase in stopping power its worth the ?50 outlay!
Ask Mad Driver what an improvement they are, I sold him my old 16v brakes!
