Any1 know where can i buy twin 40s from new?? did look on the weber site but i dont know if they were priced each cos it was only ?200?? cheers

there's usually some on ebay every now and then. Sometimes people sell the lot (manifold bracket ect) all together.

sales@fastroadcars.co.uk I use them for weber bits and he sent a letter through saying that they can do new carbs now the factory has fired up again. Thing its they arent ?200 a shot lol

a local shop to me RSM (road and stage motorsport) can get new Webber carbs.

Saw a set in the last time i was there - spanking new, approx ?300 per carb.

lol i didnt think they would be so much! have seen a few on ebay.....its a lot to spend on a 1400 tho......could get a redtop for that kinda money! iv been quoted a grand to do it if i supply an astra cavalier etc...is that good?? cheers

no not really - Labour wise it's about ?250 worth of welding,spraying.. then not much fitting.

I'm sure if you contact some nice people from here - you could get it done for less
