have a look at my car on the site, its under mats 1.3 sr, ive stripped it all out, and u would not belive the extra speed u get, just cause its so much lighter.
i took out all the carpets, sound deadning, most off the dash, glovebox, door cards.
is loud, but not unbearable, and ive got a peco exhaust, and u all know how shit and loud them are,and there even worse when most of the baffles have blown out

Hey Matt was there any rerally hard bits to do when taking out the interior nd will it go back in easy enough?? LAso I rtake it that it'll pass an mot fine with no interior bar bucket seats?? mines black but it should still look fine inside.I was thinkin of buildin a plastic chequer plate false floor to house my amp and sub.Whadya think will it work ok??Unfortunately I canae fit the roll cage :( (insurance) but I wana have fun up th back roads in it :-) The engines fast enough (sri with high lift cam and k+N and no cat ) so it should go like a rocket!! Is it cold wif no interior??

dash can be a bit trickey to refit, apart from that its all easy enough to do.
is alot noisier, and is cold in the winter, untill your heater warms up.
good thing is though is that ur car will be noticible quicker due to less wait.
as for mot.
the only things u need for mot, is horn, indicators, light controls, and suitable seatbelt restraints(this is down to the testers decision, but if u do it proper it will pass.)

I used to have back seats out with a phat stereo in the back (all boarded with perspex etc....) but when I came to strip it out ready for welding over the wheel well, I found that the suspension rose by soooooo much. That MDF weighed a tonne.
If I were U, I'd leave it all out if its speed U want.
Just paint the metal-work nicely!!
