yes if its a 1.4 sr, the 1.3 sr's only came in mk1 one form though but you can get mk1 1.4sr and mk2 ones

so early mk2 sr 1.4s(without cat ) have same engine as mk1 sr1.4 (no cam belt tensioner} an are the head an inlet the same

no sr had a cat, only injection models have cats.

Yes if it has the same engine as a mk1, 1400Sr engine etc.

Cambelt tensioners were introduced in 1992. Mostly SPI/late MPi engines have them.

so all carb models r the same its only novas with injection that have belt tensioner?

I think some late 1400SR engines have tensioners as well.
1992 on.

Not 100% on that tho.

I know 92' on SPi/Mpi engines have them.

Ive got a k reg luxe 1400 carb with no cat with a belt tensioner remember it well from when the water pump failed bout 3 years ago think the engine is a 14nv with bosch egnition system
