Speedlines on a Nova please help[ ASAP

hi basically i have a nova GTE that is lowered 60mm, i have been offered a set of speedlines 16", but i am being told they will scrubb??

i cant have the arches rolled as they have filler in em

does any1 have any past experience??? i need to know ASAP

mine was lowered 60 mm on springs and shocks but it was mk2 i think there is a difference between them. but my mk1 is lowered 40mm on springs with speedlines and its fine. if your arches do not have a lip, which if they have been filled i presume they wont, then it should be fine aslong as its straight.

With standard arches, i'm 90% sure they would rub the outer arch lip.

I think he means his arches have filler in, from where they have been repaired.

You would need the arches rolling to fit them without rubbing.

But all novas are different tho, the wheels could rub on one car, and not on another.

they are more likely to rub the inside of the arch i would say they will fit ok.

i have speedlines, and lowered 60mm, and it doesnt scrub untill i hit a pot hole and the rim catches on the lip of the arch

Mine is lowered 90-100mm, It rubs slightly on the inner arch, but i dont hear it, just notice the shiney patch when i jack it up.

My arches are trimmed back/sealed.

Buy them!
