Why doe my amp alway protect itself

Hi everyone im having problems with my amp everytime i play my music my amp always protects itself.Has anyone got any clues to which my cause it?

Overheating, caused by pushing the amp too far.
Try turning the gain down to about half way.

or it could be a dodgy earth.

it can be a number of things

overheating
bad earth
bad live
speaker wire touching anouther
to much draw
battery running low

Try a Power Cap mate, your amp's probably drawing too much charge from the battery.
