As some of you know im re-shelling my rusty nova cos it failed mot miserably on major welding. So bought Olly's shell and im just getting started

Here's what we did today, and uncovered all the rust

Thought i would show how bad a shell i had:

Will keep updating on transferring into my nice clean one

Btw si pulled the slam panel up like that cos it was in the way

most of thats surface rust - nowt a good scrub down, fibreglass and etch primer wont sort out.

the 4th pics is definetly the worst one, i've never seen a nova rot there before.

LOL, think its a Dremel Multi type thing. Were you polishing your track rods? :lol:

lol chopping the track rod ends off rather than undoing, easy i suppose.

Did you find a lock up?

Re-shelling your nova should be fun - better you than me. I hate mot time for the old nova, tester gets everywhere with his little hammer/proding tool. Ive sent a nova in better condition to the scappies!! lol!
