Mk2 Dash screws!

Does anyone know how to get the screws out of the mk2 dash so you can take the dash out. Ive tried using a allen key but its not the right shape. Is there a special tool!! its pi****g me right off.

yes it called a spline keys get em any good auto shop will come out with a right sized screwdriver also

I used an allen Key and it worked for me so make sure your using the right sized. Try going up or down a size!

you can also get the bits from wickes b + q and that sort of thing.

It`s actually a torx 20, you can get a bit for the multi-screwdrivers.

i just used a small flat head screw driver to get mine out..lol, hey it works!!!!!

i got them in my halfords tool set go to halford they might sell um
