ive just fitted an injection unit/carb onto my 1.2i nova spi

the carb is off a 1.6 spi astra

it now idles at around 3500 rpm

im guessing these have an auoto-choke system on them

is there a method of tuning the unit to idle more economically (900ish)

CHEERS!!

SPI has NO CHOKE.
Im guessing hes fitted a 1.6SPI throttle body to his 1.2SPi engine.
The 1.6 one is too big for the 1.2 inlet tho, so is going to upset the flow into the engine, the 1.6 has a 43mm plate, and the 1.2 is only 34mm IIRC.

You need a 1.6SPI inlet manifold.

If you have the 1.6 injector in the tb, its going to badly overfuel on a standard engine.

The idle problem is probably an air leak, or ICV problem.
