what do i get my altenator and bottom pully off for my 20xe conversion in my nova?

also, has anybody put the oil cooler on there nova wen doing the conversion, do you just use the originol cooler pipes or have new ones made, where have people also mounted there coolers, pic request? cheers j

what alternator haev you got, if its the normal one then just use that and the original bottom pulley, all you do with the bottom pulley is machine the outer power steering part off to clear the inner wing. Oil coolers i think you can use the normal pipes, im putting one on my corsa and it should be alright i reckon.

its got a multi groove belt on phil

oh right get the other type one on with the relevent brackets and the bottom pulley to match, that type wont go on a nova as far as im aware as the other type is damn close.

thats wot i thought, can i just change the pully on the alternator or av i gota have another alternator? u got any in at work?

Need the different top mounting bracket for the alternator as well as doubt the multi groove style will have the slider on to tension the belt as think it tensioned off the PAS pump.

You need the bottom pulley shaved down, i had mine machined down by a local engineers...

As for the Oil cooler, mine sits behind the front bumper...see below, the pipes route along the tie bar and out throught the front valance...
