i have a nova saloon an i dnt know wot to do wit it i have a mk2 dash in it some tsw alloys an lowered 60mm on gmax kit i want to keep it a standard as possible need a bigger engine tho only a farty 1ltr

hey its a 2 door an i have a 14sr bottom end just need the top an finish it off dont know how to put pics on here :oops:

Looks promising mate...

Heres a lil list of thing I'd do...
Mk2 nova front bumper
Novadose grille
(you could go all out & convert front end to look like a mk2 :P)
Work on the bootlid, get rid of the plastic & flush weld it
Clear rear clusters
Maybe a nice flush spoiler too (none of that e-tech drivvle :lol: )
Clear indicators for the front
And... my personal preference would be to get a re-spray... Sorry, but I really do hate that colour!!! :lol:

Anyway. Reminds me of my old saloon actually. I'd get clear front indicators, Mk1 SR front bumper and grille, Mk2 saloon rear bumper, debadge, euro lights, small spoiler (seem to remember seeing in TV mag the cav rear boot lip would fit), window surrounds *if* you can get them... basically just tidy it up.

As for engine, depends on insurance really.

They are held in by the window rubbers iirc, and som trim tape wouldn't go amiss. Bear in mind normal 3dr ones don't fit the 2dr saloon.

not a bad car, to start off with TBH, get some new wings, and a door, treat the rust aswell, i think it would look really good with nova GTE or GSI side skirts, and a general tidy up.

Meh, I sold my G reg 1.2, just like yours, with a GSi dash for ?300. Didn't really have that much interest in it.
