in my SRI, a ?30 fill up would get me 300miles.
in my 2.0 16v, a ?30 fill up would get me 200 miles

both driven very hard 90% of the time!

id guess it must have been set up better?
i know it was definately that as the petol gauge didnt work well so i went by mileage instead.

so 100 miles on around 11litres thats crazy mate, think it might be exagerated, i only got about 85mile in my 1.6 which cruised down the motorway, and me mates diesel does about 100m, never mind before the cars are driven hard.

350 miles in 1.2

275 miles in 1.4 with weber 32/34 (both chokes open mostly  )

300 miles in standard gsi

do you rekon there is something wrong with mine then, as i only get about 55miles on 10litres, and a round trip of 120 mile cost around ?50

something is defo wrong for that kind of miles!

i remember the best we got was ?10 of fuel polished off in 9 miles in breenys old SR 1.6 T40, was a funny old run ;)

mine with a mix of raping and 'normal' driving always returns 230-250 miles to the tank

I've never put a full tank in mine, lol.
I usually get about 70-80 miles with ?10 worth.

well i seem to get about 180 miles from a half tank and driving it fairly easy. how low in the red can you go before it is totally dry? my pump was a kinda making funny noises last nite wi it about half way through the red part

I usually dont let mine get to the red on the guage, incase the guage is slightly wrong.
Theres a light on the guage on my clocks, but i think theres only about 2/3L in the tank when the light comes on.

Take it was low as you dare take it, but i would rather have half a tank and know i have enough fuel, than risk it and run out half way there, lol.
