Tip Number 1.

15 Minutes on full power in an 850w microwave is too long for a jacket potato, despite what your wife may tell you.

Below are images displaying the damaged caused to my microwave by the resulting fire which ensued after about 14 minutes and 40 seconds. Lots of smoke, and a generous helping of flames.

I learnt a most valuable lesson on the old micro tha hard way - NEVER put a jam doughnut in one. Hot jam is really funny when it squirts out and clings to the side of ones boat race. :evil:

we had an old microwave we had it for ages, i mean im 19 and i cant remember havin a different micro wave and me bro cant either and he is 23!

well got the arents one for xmas and everything ive put init has been nuced! (sorry for spelling) the old one was a damn reliable thing and would have cooked a jacket spud in 15mins and wouldbnt have been just right temp much have been a 350w lol :D
