I dunno if anyone else has suffered but in a decent chappish sort of way I think it only right to warn all fellows of the Influenza thats sweeping East Anglia at present. Its a strong un , so much so , that come August I,ll pay for a flu jab......
As most women folk will agree - if a chap gets a cold - its almost malaria or pneumonia .
All joking aside peeps - this ones a real beggar. I was supposed to start a new job on Monday , but thanks to the virus a new start date is now needed.
So , youve been warned. Us blokes can handle pain with relative ease ( childbirth - minor toothache woman !) but this aint funny ,so stock up on all things like Lucozade , Vick inhaleant lemsip , kleenex ( balm type ) and reading matter ( ?) . Expect 48hrs of coughing hell and aches and pains. You,ll know its flu - it,ll strike like lightning and on passing feel as if youve been ran over by vanessa felts wearing flippers.
Coming to a town near you real soon.

as you can tell from the name, man flu only effects men! its genetically engineered to do so! so dont start saying that men moan! women just dont experience the same illness/virus strain.
for example: bird flu only to be caught by our little avian friends! but a modified version can effect humans.
another example: rabbies! squirrels are not affected by rabbies, but humans, both male and female can.
so as a conclusion. the fact that there is clearly a female (x,x) form of the flu virus and a male (x.y) form (chromosomes) then it is clear that women are just extra grumpy from a flu while males are close to death as they hav a more masculine form of the modified wimpy female virus!
hence why men are allowed to moan and show the clear suffering (infact they only show 5% of the actual pain) and women should just deal wiv it! men hav to deal wiv the same moaning and groaning for a week every month from their girlfriends (periods).
:::this amazingly true anouncement is not backed up by actual facts and science, rather is from the sound reasoning and judgement of a mad man hehe:::

You know you've got proper flu, and not man flu if;
Someone leaves a large sack full of money next to the lamp-post on the other side of the street with a big sign saying FREE TO GOOD HOME, and you can't get yourself out of bed to fetch it.
If you are able to walk around and make yourself a hot drink, you don't have flu... you have a cold!

Indeed the wisewood is right . You simply cannot get out of bed . Thats flu.
Thank god us chaps dont suffer from the other affliction of Special Friend sydrome that is unpopular in women folk( positively hated amongst chaps ). It happens monthly , and mood swings alter so greatly its almost as if her horrible spiteful mate from years back has come to stay for the week. Word of warning. Never attempt to ask the following - "Hello dear , you seem a little tense , bad day at the office ,dinner ready , or is youre special friend due to visit us again ?"
Apart from flu , blokes in general REALLY fear a kick in the love spuds.
End of sermonn.
There's a lot of cold going round here at the mo.. nothing serious but enough for me to blag a few days off work perhaps. Long weekend in cheltenham seems to be on the cards

and if everyone thinks like that the end of the human race is nigh
I have found that since i started having mood swings once a month to coincide with the wife, she has calmed down quite a lot.
you willall get bird flu.
