Steel Wheels

Hi was just wondering what steel wheels will fit over 16v calipers as i am taking the alloys off to get them shot blasted and sprayed.

Any over 5.5J 14s.

Id go for 14"s to be on the safe side, I uprated the bakes on my astra with cav gsi ones and found my 13 steelie spare wheel doesnt fit anymore.

14" will just about go on over 16v brakes.

iv had steelies over my calibra 16v discs they go on, but wen u corner hard the wheels bend slightly and grind abit.
they r ok if u take it easy

I have to admit that I've never heard of steel wheels bending under hard cornering but being ok for everything else....
I've encountered bushes distorting & bodywork getting rubbed.
i've got 5.5j14s with 185/60 tyres

Thats good to know, as the 14" steelies are what i have as a spare set of wheels, i didn't think they fitted over 16v brakes, but i aint tried mine yet as i aint fitted the brakes yet,lol.
