temp Guage

ok, fitted a 1400 sr engine into my 1.2 swing.

everything is running fin apart from the temp guage. when i touch the wire on an earth, the guage works, but when connected to the sensor on the inlet manifold it doesnt work. i have tried changin the sensor for the one out of the original 1.2 engine with no luck,.

any suggestions?

mine thru a spaz the otha day and i checked all my earths to my engine and one had broke, repaired it and it was fine, why havnt u put ur old valver in it? any joy with straitening you old one yet?

which earth mate?
couldn't be arsed to weld ma engine bay so i bought the sr for 120, got ma white shell ready to be taken to a bodyshop for a quote on straightening but we'll see how money goes
