How did it all start?? who was the 1st couple of users? do they still use the site??
I'm bored so and i've always wonder...

it looked a lot like windows explorer lol
then we ahd a little revamp and had a proper forum.
Ive been on the site since lateish 1998 and its been intresting to say the least lol
oki stu... as the site had its good years and bad years? would you say the sites at its worst now?

Interesting fact...
:arrow: The site used to be hosted on a server under Kev's bed. It was moved to a dedicated server based in California on 7th January 2003.

Yeah thats the reason for the high speed bit...
Before the change was made the site was running really slow due to the number of people using the site. It suddenly rocketed and kevs server and/or connection couldn't cope.
Added to which, he had some stability issues with the server and kept having to go home and reboot it in his lunch break - which left the server down for up to three hours at a time.
ahhhhhhh... History lessons are great aren't they. Just dont ask me about anything pre 2001 :lol:

in response to the good/bad years.. it has been particularly "bad" in my eyes for the past 12 months.. and getting worse with certain things occuring.
never mind hey.
pre 01 it was cool, not so many valver novas about either so taht was cool

I looked on the net for an SR interior for my old 1987 1.2 Merit.
Found a site, and someone selling one... Drove 70 miles or so to collect it, and he asked me whether it was novaload where i saw it advertised for sale. I said no, he said check out novaload when you get home.
I did, and the rest is history :lol:
Paul Jackson was the fella... nice guy. Had a blue 2.0 8v which amazed me when i saw under the bonnet as i'd never seen a nova with a 2 litre in it before then... couldn't believe it :lol:
oh kewl..
and now 2L's are common as muck..
i was gonna do 1 but.. i was finkin about been different and tuning a 1.2i or 1.2carb...

never posted anything back then, only really started post much last year lol

not really much left to do, just waiting to get my inner cv's off srs1, he's picking them up today, going change the fuel tank, all wired in, and fit brakes and then it should be done

it only had a respray cos it needed new doors and arches, other wise i wouldn't of bothered.. its a sleeper lol, just looks like a shitter

I am a n00b lol, I registered in 2003 after nosing the site for a fair few months, then disappeared after a year or so... returned late 2004 with the sole intention of selling both novas and kinda stuck around, much to many people's dismay :lol:

joined in 2000 soon after Mr Breeny whom i went to school with, both with an interest in Novas.... myself even more so after he got first first 1400 SR :)
