I have a 1.2 blydenstein head and have a pair of dellorto 40's, which inlet manifold is best? Don't mean to sound stupid but the carbs come with an sri manifold so will it fit the head? Are the ports similar?

Thanks

Tom

The SRI inlet wont fit the 1200 head.
Sri ports are round, 1200 are cathedral.

Either get an inlet to a 1300/1200(same ports)

Or get a 1.4SRi head that you could have polished/worked by blydenstein etc?

How much work has your 1200 head had?

Is it a 1300Sr or 1400SR inlet?
If its a 1400Sr, then its no use as Stu said.
He could use a 1300Sr inlet tho if thats what you have.

The carbs and manifold arrived today and I matched up the manifold to the head and it isn't a perfect fit but it doesn't look too bad.

Theres a little bit of a lip along the bottom of each port (about 2mm) so ideally I need the right manifold, but this one should still work ok for now.

Anyone who has a 1200/1300 inlet manifold for twin carbs please let me know, especially if you want one for an SRi or GSi!
