ive never fully understand the reasoning for putting 17s on a nova
Cos some people like to be looked at rather than enjoy driving.
Each to their own, but id much prefer to go around the corner, and not through it

ohhh dear!!!
having said that i do reckon 17's "look" nice on a nova when its lowered and done properly
i had 14's on my first nova which were the wrong offset and ripped off a rotten arch when it bottomed out! oh to be naive and 18 again
not the best way to do it but i must admit, he's done a half decent job as the curve on the rear arch matches the front very good!

ahhh, I got that beat - my old mate who had the white SR used mole grips for a DIY wide arch kit to fit his 205/40/16's under 8)
mine was on 17's when i bought it. Think they lasted about 3 weeks, closely followed by all the fiberglass. The novadose skirts were put on SERIOUSLY properly. Never had so much fun with a grinder in my entire life

lol
i know someone who did that round here...he wanted to fit ET30 wheels, so decided to make curved arches, he ended up botching on some XR2 arches, needless to say it looked wank
lol - seen worse rear arch mods.. :o

DIFFERENT! i'll give it that. made a tidy job of it too lol
Ha ha! I used two lump hammers to fit ET35 wheels to my SR and you'd never know!
Both rear arches rolled, lowered 40mm and no scrubbage and no rust!
The GSi sits pretty on powder coated Cav GSi rims and a 60mm drop, sweet as fook 8)
