fuel pump

For a few weeks now my fuel pump has been making a ticking noise, now i never really noticed it before but as its a pump i guess it would make some kind of noise but its really noisy now.

I have been told by someone they can get a bit noisy but is it something anyone hear has come across before. Also would replacing it be a good idea as its really just a nusense when im in the car.

If your sure its the pump then you could just fit a new one off ebay or a scrap engine etc.

It may not be the pump tho, could maybe be a top end noise?
