best way to describe this is .......well its shit!, if i try to drop from 3rd to 2nd it ends up in forth!!! wich is really annoying and quite dangerous, .....any particular reson or way of stopping it from doing this - and the reverse light has stopped working - (bulb is fine iv traced the wire and found the switch on the bell housing is toatally f**ked for apparently no reson - does this mean my gearbox is dieing? - oh yea tips on removal & refitment of a front wheel bearing????

try re aglinging the gear linkage (haynes says how)
