tbh you shouldnt be able to tell the diff mate

unless you have a massive ice install then a yellow top would be best

why have you had so many ?

do they die on you - is your alternator charging properly

just get one from halfords... OK they are twice as expensive as most plaecs but you can just keep taking it back and swapping it for 3 years if you keep the recipt.

its only a mask for the problem though...

i had a 106 kill its battery twice in 3 months... turned out to be the alternator was fooked.

ive never paid more than a tenner for any of my cars, jus go to a scrappy and get a second hand one, they will test it for you, then just take it home, leave it on charge over night, and whack it in the car,

i always get big diesel batts of im running any sort of install, and they will fit in a nova battery tray too

^ yup, both my novas ran of derv batteries from the scrapyard no problems

As said, check for the cause of the problem though, which is most likely the alternator being knackered

Halfords batteries are a complete rip off! Me and my cousin had to buy a new battery for 318 BMW on boxing day, and they charged him ?60!

A phone call to BMW this morning and a genuine BM battery from them was only ?45 + vat!

Anyway, if you buy a new one, check what week it was charged. The halfords one's have a sticker on saying something like 'charged, week 41' or summit.

If its say today you buy, and its says charged week 10, it'll be an ancient battery from back in Feb/March time and prolly dead!
