I don't think engines can be bored out that much, could it be stroked?? :?
you can bore them out to take 1.2 pistons, this makes a 1.4, but the compression ratio will probably need lowering. PMC used to do modified pistons. I actually had my own done using a CCC magazine article photo as the only reference material. The engine ran really well & had tons of torque.
Unless your engine needs a rebuild, it probably isn't worth it, as there is a ready market for 1.3 sr engines & there are loads of 1.4 engines about. remember to check if the gearbox is compatable

just bore it out to take 1400 pistons
its already got the same crank as a 1400, so get some 1400 pistons and rods and bore it out to take them
but as has been said, its expensive and pointless when you could simply buy a 1400 block
