If my engine was suddenly pushing 200bhp, what do i need to do to stop it blowing up, do i change the con rod bolts? or do i have to change con rods or even more?

ARP Rod bolts will strengthen the bottom end when revving harder...

What have you done to get 200 bhp?

lol no

But to get 200 bhp, from what i can see from you're avatar? is a 1.6 16v?

It'll need fairly heavy internal work anyway, so whilst the engines in bits might be an idea to consider up grading the internals a bit further...

supercharcher and a few other things, but its jst the bottom end i want to be stronger.

to get 200bhp you want to be looking at some funky cams a bit of nice headwork some sexy throttle bodies and a very nice ECU which maps all the power along with your bottom end work....... that will send you in the right direction towards your target figure.

a superchip and bottom end strenghtening wont get you that far without looking at some of the above.....

see chris tunnicliffes spec for what i class as "the bare minimum" to hit 200bhp... it was on twin 45 carbs an ign only management when it did 200 but the engine itself was the same.

and his was a 2.0 not a 1.6...... so even more work
