when cam pulley mark is at tdc the marks on the bottom pulley r roughly in line with ur knee if u r looking under bonnet.

there is a notch in the lower part of cam cover an the mark on lower pulley lines up with this notch is this correct or has some 1 made this notch

in haynes it says timing pointer should align with notch in pulley can the pointer b seen with out taking cam cover off cos at moment only notch there is is in timing belt at bottom cover

If you can't do it take the whole pulley off, and the notch where the pulley grips onto the crank pulley will line up to a notch on the bottom of the plastic cam cover crap, the notch will be facing downwards to the ground, yes the timing mark is around your knee
