me plastic trim on the outside of me car keeps coming off, ive tried double sided tape, and strong carpet tape, but it still keeps peeling off, any suggestions of what 2 use?

try Unibond 'sticks like sh*t' i hav heard its really strong

Halfords do double sided Trim Tape which should be good enough for holding it on - its the same stuff Vaux used to put them on in the first place! Failing that, if you want the strip on permanently try some tigerseal or suchlike sealant.

also, make sure the surface on the moulding is free of sticky residue and dirt, as well as the car. Double sided panel tape is awesome, but useless if the surfaces arnt flat and clean.

i had tht same problem with mine u may think wot i did was bad for you paint or wteva but if go to halfords a they do a special araldite and it as a picture of bump strpis cuming off cars it a slow setting glue so i left if over nite and it worked really well a few months later i had gsi bumpers so wanted to take the strip off to put gsi sides on and the care off fine no mess left behind at all
