Someone clearly hasnt read the 1st post.

Its a second car to use whilst his main project is finished.

Dunno why you are getting that excited bout an E30. I'm sure millions of them have been sold to a new home...........

i will disagree with this it dont handle more abuse at all iv had 3 of them and they brake really easy ie head gasket or head cracking are a very comen falt with them and there is alot more to brake ie the diff with is made of glass.
yes they go side ways but you cant go side ways all the time as you will be putting tyers diff and props on every 5 mins trust me iv bin there done that still paying.
iv had novas in the past and think they are more fun to drive than the bmw and tend to last longer.
the main resan for sale is because i want a house and dont want to rent i want to buy so the ?5000 i got for the car and all the parts iv got laying around was more than good to sell it if you ask me m8 lol

those bmw's are crap, i had one, not the E30 model like but i broke it within days. At least when you brake a nova it doesnt cost fuck all to fix it.
They do look tasty though.

they dont break if you look after them and what makes u think that novas are indestructable (mmmm nice spelling mistake) . lets see a nova get 2 200k and still have its original engine, gearbox and diff, back quarters, doors, floorpan, boot floor and back chassis rails. diffs are not that soft, it just depends on how you use it i.e if your dropping the clutch in the dry all the time say in a 2.5 then yeah they will break. very very nice e30 u had their, looks well with the mtec 2 kit on.

im guessing you have never owned one your self.
iv had 3 e30 and had sush a bad experiance with the first 2 i didnt want to use the 3rd. everytime you give them some stick its off the road for weeks trying to find whats up with it. in my opinion there is to much on the car to go wrong and as mine was a 325i sport there not that easy to find parts for not second hand.
where the nova woooops iv fucked it i will nip up the scrappy look there is 10 with 1 do i want. lol
if the e30 is what you want then go for it just look out for over heating (cracked head) and rott every where there is a lot of old dogs out there lol

Like the Spark cover mate, that sparco brace should fit on an XE'd nova with a power cap,or T45's or TB's.

sorry bout this, and maybe dragging up the argument again, but i have just recently had two bad experiences wi e30's

Beautiful cars, great to look at, hav the prestige of that badge, not bad to drive and u can have a lot of fun wi the old rwd setup, but the two i had, a 318is(1.8 16v), and a 325iSE, but both broke down, one within 5 days of owner ship,

but vaux's can also give bother, i used to have a gte nova, which had to have a water pump fitted, two rotor arms and dizzy caps,

the only car i have owned that never needed parts was an '89 civic, great car that took a lot of abuse,

That said, i still find that nova's are fun to drive and easy to modify, with so many parts still available!!!

its swings and roundabouts, it depends on if the car has been looked after it its younger years. well thats what i think lol
