i got the sony ericsson phone ages ago and got a cable so i can connect it to my computer so i can put stuff onto it but having tourble doing this can anyone help?

so didnt know where to put this question so put it here!

edit* and what are the things called that you can plug into your computer that use blue tooth and you can send stuff to ya phone and how do they work and if someone has one are they any good?

have you installed the software that came with the phone?

i have a w800i which is similar and i had to install a program called 'disc2phone'

i know the phone appears as a seperate drive in 'my computer' once you have installed everything

It's called a Bluetooth Dongle. You can pick them up for around ?8-?10 off the Internet. They are pretty good, I bought one and it works like a charm for simple file transfers between the phone/PC. :D

I've also got the W800i (fantastic phone!) but the network logo annoys me - any idea if this can be removed via the data cable or anything?

just plug in and load up the soft ware then can transfer stuff of your computer on to ya phone then? like video's pictures etc and does it work other way around phone to computer or is it just computer to phone?
