what shall i do with my engine.

well its leaking oil and it seems to be drinking petrol like nobodies buisness.
i think its leaking oil from the head gasket and other places, but i'v not got the typical symptoms of a gone head gasket yet.

and the gearbox is getting worse, its realy like slack, my brothers old GSI went into gear well nice was realy respondive and you could feel were it was but mine is un believable.

was originaly just going to buy a GSI box, but now am thinking of finding a good GSI/GTE engine and box.

how much would i expect to pay for an engine rebuild?
what shall i do? :?

smack a bottle of redex carb cleaner in with a full tank of fuel and see if this helps. bout ?150 for engine box n loom etc if u look around

look in parts for sale theres complete gsi engine set up shafts engine loom box etc for 150 quid. god im good :lol:
