1.8 sri conversion!

hi, anyone put an astra 1.8 sri engine in a nova before?
nearly ready to swap engines now, just wanted to know what power to ewxpect :?

probably be cheaper to stick an xe in, will give more power out

im not going to be useing it for the streets, i'll be doing road rallies ect.

ive already got the engine as my mates astra sri had more holes than JFK in it!
does anyone know of anyone whos done the same transplant?

go small block then, 1.6 16v

Go for a small block 1.6 16v or a 1.6 8v on some 40's or TB's

small block will give much better handling for road rallies e.t.c
