Finally pulled my finger and got on with stripping the interior.....

Back arch's have been welded where rotten and skimmed with filler.
Chassis cut out for alternator clearance & box section welded in.
Found quite a few small dents in it too.

love the new colour mate and ive taken a shine 2 your bonett :D its defently diffrent from the norm
Nice, its really coming along now that.
Im sticking with the red SR beastie, and now got a Black GSi that was a SRi. just getting the funds to spray it metallic black, give a clean an tidy then sell on! :lol:
blue nova's do look nice though, but next show season i rexkon you'll see a few around?? :|
What does it matter if there are a few blue novas around? lol.

Look same as Karl's but un sculptured to bonnet like his is.. (pugeot 306 bulge/vent)

Hammerited the whole chassis, all arch's, changed suspension, fitted wheels cylinders, removed the old brakes & put a pair of 288 discs so the cars moveable.

Cleaned & painted the block head & ancilaries, its now on a engine stand & the head bolted down, cams fitted, belt fitted, ARP rod bolts fitted & sump cleaned & new gaskets fitted with atv sealant.

Thats it for now.
The engine will be coming of the stand over the weekend, clutch fitted, gearbox fitted ready to go in the bay.

Those seats are so easy to retrim the middles on.
get a roll of blue or grey alcantara/alcanfake......its so easy on the ford recaro middle sections. Would look awesome.

Left to do is Fit TB's, Hoses, Rad, finish car wiring loom, engine loom, dash & few bits of interior & E/W, Fit V6 calipers, bleed brakes, get exhaust fitted & MOT.

i started to do my cav wheels like that. done the spare one put it on and it didnt look right against the red. and my car is more of a track look to it so looked out of place but on yours they look wicked against that blue.
how long left know then mate till its drivable?

After having a few problem getting the car to start, I have sent the ECU to emerald to be repaired as the the injectors werent opening.
Today whilst I had 5mins to spare I thought I'd fit my rear lights which have been sitting in my wardrobe for about 5 months.
Ps. sorry for the crappy pics, I was playing with the settings & these are the only decent pics I could get without the flash lighting everything up & blurring the pictures

I'm almost at the "painting the chassis" stage but dont fancy sticking my entire car on 4 axle stands - think I'll stick some ramps under it as well for good measure.

Brakes all fitted no & handbrake cable adjusted, just got to bleed them now as I couldnt find my self bleed kit.

Gave up trying to get it started, so refitted the trumpets & filter & tidied up the bay, gott get some conduit (sp) for the wires & then get southern carbs in wimbledon to get it running & map it.

The hoses (rouse motorsport not samco) cost me just over ?100. & the rad & fan are standard nova sr ones.

No luck yet, got a mate coming round tomorrow with his laptop so fingers crossed we can find the fault. :confused:
v6/turbo? 288mm setup. There only temporary til ive saved for 4pots.
