In my trusty Hanynes Manual it says that the fron bumper is attached by bolts... okay good so far... where the hell are they?? how do i get to them... as far as I can see they must be near the radiator or something? tell me you don't hav to take the radiator out to pull the fron bumper off?

Have a look inside the wheel arch - there are 2 (13mm i think) bolts in a line towards the front of the car, on the bit between the wheel arch and the engine bay (inner wing?) U'll see what i man when u get ur head in there!!!! Then the bumper just pulls forward of off the wing clips once uve undone both bolts from each side.

Sometimes, you may have to un-due the bolts on the wing-brackets as well, as the sliders sometimes don't want to slide, making it a right bugger to get the bumper off.
They rust, get covered in crap, and rust some more, then expand with flaky rust, and get even more stuck.
You could spray plenty of oil on 'em to try and free things up.
Other than that, it's just the under-arch bolts.
If your bumper is an SR or GTE type, they'll also be clips along the bottom edge, that support the lower edge, which you'll also have to remove.
