View Full Version : How much have you spent in 2005?
I stole this idea off my local cruise forums, but it would be interesting to see how much everybody has spent on their Novas (or other cars) in 2005?
I recon I've spent around ?500 on modifications, around ?800 on insurance/tax etc, a good ?1000+ on petrol and a few hundred in mechanics bills. It's kinda scary when you tot it all up :?

ROFLMFMO not even thinking about what i have spent. The last time my car was in the light of day was over a year ago and the whole lot has been stripped down since then and a new engine speced and built. Then the engine was pulled to bits again and rebuilt and is still not back with me. Would have been cheaper to buy and build a mint 500bhp Escort Cosworth.

500 on nova gsi
150 on nova gte
800 on 306 diesel
60 tyres
200 on body bits for gsi
500 on I.C.E
next year:
500 paint and spray on gsi
300 on body kit bits
700 on wheels
250 on front wings vented
and either gsi engine rebuild at 500
or
2.0 16v turbo engine and rebuild at god knows for low comp bottom end and hybrid turbo and intercooler and stuff like that
tits and turbos always cost money so my mates dad says

well considering somewhere (over the rainbow...errr) in my accounts i'm ment have around ?17K....... :o
but on the nova.... well a big chunk is the full rebuild just happening this week... ?512 there plus bits and bobs, might take it up to about ?600. over the rest of the year maybe totals up to about ?3000 inc fuel, tax and insurance.
tyres were the things i got though the most, tracking was miles out!
