will i get better grip with 16" over 15" as im putting a let in my nova and dont the 6speed box have a boost cut in 1st gear
How is the diameter of the wheel going to affect what amount of grip you get?? :?
It depends what rubber you have on there...........
The "footprint" doesn't really change in area no matter what wheels you fit. Decent tyres will be more effective.
Although having said that most people usually go for 15's for handling.

i was just thinking that 15s would spin up easier thats all and i dont want that. im thinking of going for 15s as i like them better

Theres a pedal on the right of the nearside footwell which reduces wheelspin.

not much between 15s and 16 and the boost cut is ecu controled i think so save the gearbox
a larger wheel will help wheelspin a little as it takes more leverage to rotate the wheel, but on most larger wheels the tire then makes it the same size as the smaller wheel anyway,
with a larger wheel there is also very slightly more contact with the road due to the shallower angle of the circumfrence of the wheel to the road,
but you can get that by lowering tyre pressures,
sooooooooo best bet for a nova are 15s, and dont make the mistake of thinking that ligher wheels are better, that also causes wheelspin, especially on a high torque motor like an LET
