I would like to know if it's possible to fit 16's on the nova with a 60mm drop without rubbing on the front inner arches?

If anyone has got any suggestions as to which are the best wheels to buy then please let me know... i was thinking along the lines of multi spokes.

Thanks guys

Yes, speedlines are one of the best fitment, but if you want something other than those, you need to look for a wheel with an offset of either et49 or et45 or maybe even et42 with a width of 6.5j - 7j will fit, but obviously you are sticking a wider wheel on the car which may cause problems depending on the offset and whether you have the lip on the arch still. Then the tyre size comes into account, you want 195/45/16, maybe 195/40/16 but these are more expensive.

Yeh i was aware that the speedlines were the best fitment 16's, but i was maybe thinking something a bit different. Also, i agree speedlines suit the Nova and Corsa 'B' really well, but i can only track them down on eBay and theyre around ?700 with tyres and delivery.... well i could snag some new 16's with tyres for about ?450 so speedlines seem a bit steep.

Thanks a lot for the input though guys.

Any other suggestions?

Cheers

Compomotive Mo 8)

Depends what style of wheel you're looking for really - rally style, bling, multispoke, 5 spoke, vauxhall wheels, etc etc.

anything with et 45/49 should fit - most older style 4 stud vauxhalls.

the susual ones are speedlines, soft stars, compomotives but these are "common" on novas

probably because they look feckin gorgeous!

My Et45 16" Masitalys wouldn't go on at all with the arch lips.

Yes its still on a jack as i couldn't let the jack down as the tyre was pressing on the arch lip. :(

I reckon they would of looked great tho if they had gone on.

You will definently need the arch lips modding, even for speedlines to fit without rubbing when hitting a big bump etc.

its not just about wheel size.

setup of the rack and track arms is a big issue.

u need to set the steering wheel so its centered on the rack and then the arms so that full lock in each direction is centered.
