View Full Version : 1300 astra mk1 inlet same as a 1300 nova inlet?
hey, is a 1300 astra mk1 inlet same as a 1300 nova inlet?
cheers lee
not all are no. if you have a mk1 astra 1300 inlet, stick it on eBay with 'autograss class 2' in the title and you'll get a very nice return, the longer runners are very much in demand for the restricted 1300 class that novas tend to dominate.
a 1.3sr inlet is easy enough to come by
cheers, would it be better or worse than a 1300 inlet? i know i need one to run 32/34 carb so if its the same or better i will get it. cheers lee

To use 32/34 weber, you need the later (post 87) inlet manifold IIRC.
A mk1 Astra will be pre 85 if I'm not mistaken.
