i was just thinking!!!!!!!!! which doesnt happen very often. u know how u get tinting spray for lights y cant u use it for tinting the back windows in the car. has any 1 got any reason y this wont work as im very tempted to do it.

y dont you just buy tinting film i got a 6 meter roll for 17 quid m8

The main reason it wont work is that tinting spray is designed to stick to acrylic, not glass.

it will also be very difficult to get an even finish.

You will also need about 4 or 5 cans to get the desired result on an area that large, which will come to about ?75.

I can quite confidently say it will look shit! You will get a better result getting hold of some glass paint and just blacking it off completely!!

or you could buy window tinting spray. imagine that buying the right thing for the job. the only prob you will have is getting an even coat

any spray for windows is shockinly shite and unless you know what you are doing will look very nasty and I;d be surprised if you could see through it afterwards.

Take the glass out, get some proper tint (dont go too dark or the police will pull you) apply to inside of window (not windscreen), trim, remount in rubber and reinsert into the window.

Dont try and do it wothoug taking the window out because you wont get right into the corners/down the rubber and it will look gash!

finished the side window and have some nice results bat the backs gona b a bastard as its still on the car :roll:

Cant burgo fitted my gte spoiler lower than its ment to be and i cant remove it :roll:
