i drive around in a full caged, striped out nova, its fun coz its light and the cars more ridged therefore takes corners better,
but id rather a normal nova just for comfort.

been driving around like that now for nearly 2 years!

trust me it aint gona be a passion wagon with a cage!

if your gona put a rear cage in best off with a bolt in, it'l help handleing a bit, you could try and get one with a removable diagonal, so that you can keep your back seats.
up to you mate.
depends what style your going for

i was in that dilema, i decided to stick a gsi interior in mine,

its an everyday car, i can;t be doing with out music sat in rush hour etc etc

if it was a second car, then i would strip it, but for a daily driver, not a chance

Thats the same as i would do.
Hence why my car has full interior.

My only, everyday car is fully stripped, no heater, no heated rear screen, no sound deadening, full cage, door bars the lot!

Totally impractical (spelling), total fun!

STRIP IT!

i must be getting old then

well i doubt my car would go on the track and personally dont see the point stripping a car for road use, not like there is anywhere, where you can drive it hard is there?

stripping it = more power/weight for FREE

try increasing your power to weight by upgrading the engine for free...

Stripping it out = Increase in performance ( as stuart said), reduced wear and tear (tyres etc), reduced fuel consumption.

So Strip IT!!!

Altho i'm gettin old so i'd suggest keepin the heater, get rid of rear seats, carpet, sound deadening, chop the dash down and keep door speakers and head unit.

I "comfort" stripped the Clio

Basically I removed the rear seats & parcel shelf, seatbelts, spare wheel, boot carpet, rear interior panels and carpet sound deadening. It was still nice to drive but just removing those gave a decent boost in performance.

See ya
