why not ask the question you really want ansering... eg what loom can i fit on X engine...

would a gte/sri loom from a nova fit a sri 1.8 engine from a mk2 astra?

Well a SRI loom is totally different to a GTE loom.
I think a 1.8 engine out a astra has a AFM, so the SRI loom wont work.

WHy not just find a loom to the 1.8engine?

ive got the loom for the sri still in the astra, but the last owner was a bit of a DIY disaster man, and its a different layout from the nova loom,

just trying to save myself headwork.
