fule leak??

i keep gettin a weird v shape mark just under the fule cap about a foot long that looks like a fule leak but its brown and now staind the paint? what the hell is it and how do i get rid of it and/or stop it?

Its where petrol has dribbled out the fuel nozzle when you have put it in/took it out the fuel filler hole.
Petrol does stain paintwork.

Try some t-cut or white spirit.
