the usual is to colour code the plastic bits by painting them horrible gash colours.

IMO thats naff and dated and looks out of place on a grey dash (ie if you paint the bits red ot yellow etc...)

The dash is vynal so unless youre prepared to skin it to the card and then rebuild something different Is keep it as it is and perhaps stain the grey black to suite the GSi dash. You can get pretty good vynal stain from halfords.

You could then paint key items of the dash aluminium or silver. This would be in keeping with a "modern" dash.

You could look at changing the centre console and mount your stereo where the centre vents go. you could not install a dash at all and make a totally custom "shelf" for your clocks and basics (see Dan's car).

It all depends on how anus'ed you can be.

theres also 2 on the inside of the dash at the top, 1 behind your clocks and 1 up behind your glove box there about 10mm.Theres about 6-8 bolts holding the glove box in aswell and i think there 8mm iirc.

hope that helps fella :D

it wont crack providing you remove the vynal backing and take it back to the cardboard shell
