Seems to me that its missfiring.

Very jerky, no acceleration, poor idle, im 100% sure its a missfire.

Its had new plugs, new leads, ne rotor arm, new dizzy cap.

Was absoloutely fine, until today, ben good for last week.

Before that it failed to start due to oil on the spark plugs?

any ideas, why that was there, enogn had been sitting for a year before that, not run. Could it be that again?

Cheers Paul

if youve got oil on the spark plugs will be the rocker gasket gone

Oil on plugs aint good. It may be rocker gasket if youre lucky.. otherwise it will be shagged rings. or maybe even a porous head.
