hi lads,
right will get straight to the point. my car when i just start it up in the morning or whenever the engine is cold it runs fine. but once the engine has warmed up it starts to feel very lumpy when i put my foot down. it does not always do this but it is around 1500k-3000k in revs. it feels like not all the pistons are firing, like an unbalanced feel but then all of a sudden it will clear and the car will be fine. Oh byu the way its a 1.4 spi, any ideas lads.

every answer much appreciated
thanks ben

I'd start with changing the spark plugs, leads and dizzy cap. Unless it's been recently serviced?

i serviced it 5k ago but did not change the dizzy or leads, just did plugs oil filter oil and air filter.

Definitly do the HT service, i had the problem and found that it was just down to corroded leads.

cheers

another thing aswell like i said before it only seems to be doing it once the engine is getting warm? when it has just been started it is fine, but still going to change dizzy and that.

i live in cornwall, there are all over the uk,

just found these for you to try.

IMO they are the best places for parts.
doing the HT should solve the problem
