View Full Version : plastic or metal ball in gte tank?

well ive been painting my gte tank up, and when moving it around i can hear either a small plastic or metal ball rolloing around inside is this there for a reason or has part of the level sensor fallen off inside? :?

I think some tanks had a plastic ball just in the filler neck (held in by a daft plastic cage) which stops petrol going up the filler assembly in corners, thats most likely what it is.

i tried to leave it alone, but it was pissing me off! took the sender/float bit off and pulled the bugger out :D was a small white ball :D
